Warranty Statement
AtticXperts stands behind eligible attic, crawl space, insulation, and proofing work with a 10-year workmanship warranty on labor we perform, as described in your approved written scope. This page summarizes how that support works.
Contact Us About Your ProjectWhat AtticXperts warranties
AtticXperts provides a ten (10) year workmanship warranty on labor we perform for services that are part of an approved, written scope of work—such as attic cleaning or decontamination, insulation installation or upgrades we perform, rodent or bird proofing we install, and crawl space cleaning, repair, or conditioning work we complete—when that scope is documented on your estimate, proposal, or work order and the work is paid for according to our agreement.
This workmanship warranty means that if workmanship-related defects appear in the work we performed within the warranty period, and the issue falls within the original approved scope, we will address qualifying labor concerns in line with this statement and your project documents. Manufacturer warranties on materials (for example, certain insulation or vapor barrier products) are separate and follow each manufacturer’s terms.
This page is a general summary for homeowners. If anything here differs from the warranty or scope language in your signed paperwork for a specific job, your signed project documents control for that job.
What workmanship coverage depends on
The approved written scope defines what is warranted: which areas, which services, and which materials or methods were agreed to. Work or conditions not listed there are outside this workmanship warranty unless added in writing.
The warranty runs from the date we substantially complete the covered work for that phase of the project. If your home receives multiple phases on different dates, each phase is measured from its own completion.
We warranty our labor and installation workmanship—not unrelated problems that develop later from new damage, untreated entry points elsewhere, moisture or structural issues outside the agreed scope, or pest activity in areas we were not contracted to seal or protect.
Where attic contamination, proofing, insulation, and crawl space conditions overlap, your proposal should state what is being done first and what may require a separate scope. Ask before you approve so expectations for warranty support match the work on the contract.
What this workmanship warranty does not cover
- Damage or failure caused by fire, flood, earthquake, severe weather, accidents, vandalism, or other events outside our control.
- Alterations, repairs, or additions to our work performed by you or another contractor without our prior written authorization.
- Normal settling, aging, or wear of building components unrelated to defective workmanship in the work we performed.
- Conditions that were visible or reasonably discoverable before work but were excluded from the approved scope, or new conditions that arise from issues not included in that scope.
- Re-infestation or new pest entry through openings we did not treat, through new damage to sealed areas, or through failure to maintain recommended upkeep when maintenance was specified.
- Consequential or indirect costs (for example lost income, temporary housing, or personal property damage). Where allowed by law, remedy for qualifying workmanship issues is limited to correction of our labor on the covered scope.
- Products or materials covered only by a manufacturer’s warranty; those claims follow the manufacturer’s process.
How to request warranty support
If you believe there is a workmanship concern related to work we completed within the warranty period, contact AtticXperts with your name, property address, approximate completion date, and a short description of the issue. Photos and a copy of your invoice or contract help us review your request quickly.
We will evaluate good-faith warranty requests in light of your approved scope and may schedule a site visit to determine whether the concern is covered. If covered, we will coordinate an appropriate remedy for the qualifying workmanship defect. If the issue is outside warranty coverage, we will explain why and can discuss optional paid service if you would like help.
